The St. Charles History Museum will host local singer-songwriter Dave Ramont for a special benefit concert at the Museum on Friday, July 12. A portion of the show’s proceeds will benefit the Museum. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. with the first set at 6:30 p.m. followed by a short intermission, and a second set.
Dave Ramont is a singer/songwriter from St. Charles who has released 4 solo records and 3 more with swillbilly band Dick Smith. He has played throughout the US and has garnered international airplay. Ramont taught guitar at RPM Creative Music in St. Charles for many years and has produced records for other songwriters. In this performance, he will be joined by cellist/bassist and St. Charles native Ryan Carney, playing songs and sharing some St. Charles stories.
