Adopt an Artifact! is a unique program offered by the St. Charles History Museum that allows people to “adopt” various artifacts from the Museum’s Collection. Artifacts may be adopted for up to a year and can be renewed.
The St. Charles History Museum this week announced the unveiling of its “Save our History” COVID-19 Community Collection and Fund, a new initiative aimed at collecting local stories about the impacts and experiences of COVID-19 in St. Charles, as well as raising money to support the History Museum during its temporary shutdown.
In celebration of this historic landmark year, the St. Charles History Museum will be celebrating the legacy of local women who fought for suffrage and helped to shape St. Charles into the city it is today in our fall temporary exhibit. In preparation of the exhibit and in honor of Women’s History Month, take a look at some of the most influential women in St. Charles history.
Due to recent concerns regarding travel safety and ongoing travel cancellations in the midst of the COVID-19 outbreak, the grand prize winner of our East vs. West Community Fundraiser will have the option to select the week-long trip OR the cash value equivalent of $2,000.
