Celebrate Historic Preservation month in May by touring the first public park in Illinois - Pottawatomie Park. Take a walking tour of the Grandview neighborhood where docents at select sites will share details of the exterior architecture and historical significance of each home.

While exploring the neighborhood enjoy additional information in your guide that details additional properties.

Guided tours of the park will depart on the half hour. Light refreshments provided by Nothing Bundt Cake of Geneva.

Volunteer and be a Docent…

The St. Charles History Museum is looking for docents to help with our house walk. Docents will be available at select sites where you will share the details of the exterior and architecture significance of the home. Shifts are two hours and there will be a training session on May 11, at 2pm at the St. Charles History Museum.
