Free museum admission, sidewalk sale and free live jazz concert to celebrate 90th Anniversary of the museum

The St. Charles History Museum is excited to announce a special Jazz Weekend day on September 9, 2023, filled with music, history, and community spirit. In celebration of the Museum’s 90th Anniversary and the vibrant jazz culture in St. Charles, Illinois, the museum is offering FREE admission to all visitors and a unique sidewalk sale at The Curious Fox gift shop.

  • Time: Museum open from 11 AM to 6 PM; Jazz concert from 4 PM to 6 PM

  • Location: St. Charles History Museum, 215 E Main St., St. Charles, Illinois

  • Admission: FREE to the public. Donations appreciated!

Daytime Activities:

Visitors are invited to explore the museum's rich collection and take advantage of the sidewalk sale featuring unique St. Charles items at The Curious Fox gift shop. The museum's doors will be open from 11 AM to 6 PM, welcoming guests to immerse themselves in local history and culture.

Evening Jazz Concert:

To cap off the day and kick off a fantastic Jazz Weekend in St. Charles, the museum's outdoor patio will come alive with the soulful sounds of jazz pianist Austyn Menck. From 4 PM to 6 PM, guests are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs and enjoy a free jazz concert in a picturesque setting.
